Setting Up WebStatus plugin and TrillStatus

Hi All

I'm in two minds about putting this up, but i downloaded WebStatus from http://www.hardwareforum.de/jgs_db.php?action=show&eintrags_id=77&katid=22&sid= and after many hours i have got it working on my server.

So now i have these nice icons in my signature, what about other people? Some will not have the option for this.

So i have extended the code so it will create accounts for new users the first time they update their status.

Step 1. Download WebStatus.zip
Step 2. Unzip and put in your Trillian plugins Directory
Step 3. Go to Trillian plugin preferences enable the WebStatus plugin
Step 4. Go to Manage my Connections and create a new WebStatus Connection
Step 5. Put in what ever Local Alias, Username and Password you like, these can be different from you other usernames and passwords, the password is encrypted when sent.
Step 6. Set the protocol to HTTP and type the following into Server (There must be no spaced and it most be typed exactly like this all on one line)

http://www.nbit.biz/trillstatus/update.php?medium={MEDIUM}&name={CNAME}&status={STATUS}&resource={RESOURCE}&section={SECTION}&secret={PASSWORD}&user={WNAME}&version={VERSION}

Step 7. Click Connect
Step 8. Goto http://www.nbit.biz/trillstatus/ and find your name in the list (you may need to refresh a few times)
Step 9. Click your name, then click Control Panel, login with the Username and Password you used.
Step 10. Change settings to what you like.

Ok, you need to connect to your server with the WebStatus plugin it will create the Mediums for you, then you can change how they are displayed from the website.
